BELVOIR DOWNSTAIRS THEATRE
We’re accepting video submissions for Slaughterhouse by Anchuli Felicia King from now until March 1st, 2019.
About The Play
Something unspeakable happens at an ethical eating startup. Five people give their accounts of why it happened. Bianca, the social media manager, developed a macabre addiction; Josh, the CTO, had a drug-induced vision; Sasha, the CFO, lost $80,000 in an email exchange; Hannah, the boss, was a total work of art; and DJ, well, he’s just DJ. But who is telling the truth, who is telling their version of the truth, and who is evading the question?
Slaughterhouse is the world premiere production of an experimental text. For more information or to book tickets, click here.
Director, Producer Benita de Wit

What You Should Know
Rehearsals will begin September 19th and the season will run 16th October - 2nd November, 2019
All actors must be ‘Sydney based’ for the duration of the project. Unfortunately we are unable to offer flights or accommodation if you’re an out of towner (but hey, if you can figure out a way to get here and live here, then feel free to audition!)
This project is part of 25A: a season of independent and emerging artists making exciting new work in Belvoir’s Downstairs Theatre. 25A runs on a co-op model and box office will be split evenly amongst the full team. Belvoir doesn’t charge for the space so that maximum profit can come back to the artists (sweet!)
The audition form requires a google/gmail account. If you don’t have a google/gmail account please use the form here.
